The Week in Patriarchy is a weekly column in The Guardian, a mainstream British newspaper that commenced on 21 January 2017.[1][2] As of February 2023 the column is written by Arwa Mahdawi. Mahdawi took over from Jessica Valenti on 11 August 2018.[3][4]
