Late August

Media reports on 31 August 2017 that high school girls had recently staged a walkout after Ford refused to take questions from boys following a presentation at their school.

Following the incident Ford was quoted as saying:

“I was not paid to deal with ongoing bulls**t and demands from small minded boys who cannot handle being shown their world view is limited”.

It is notable that the walk out was conducted by the girls rather than the boys.

2018

May

Lifeline cancels event after a petition to remove Clementine Ford as a speaker gains 1000s of signatures. Ford is well known to use the phrase kill all men.

June-July

Widespread public calls for a Curfew for Men in Australia.

They forgot the invisible men.

2019

March

Launch of Wiki4Men. Wiki4Men draws info from two previous sites that were started in 2012 & 2013.

3 October

White Ribbon Australia goes into liquidation.

4 November

Q&A episode airs in Australia in which feminists openly call for violence against men. The episode was subsequently removed from streaming services by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Feminists can no longer claim the benefit of the doubt when asserting that feminism is a movement for gender equality.

22 November

White Ribbon Australia brand purchased by Communicare.

2020

26 January

Bettina Arndt became a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) "for significant service to the community as a social commentator and to gender equity through advocacy for men".

This is Australia Day.

2021

17 February

Legislation merging the Family Court of Australia with the Federal Circuit Court of Australia passes in the Australian Senate and will become law when it is signed by the Govenor General of Australia in due course.

15 March

Feminist March 4 Justice in Australia. Brittany Higgins was a key speaker.

24 March

Male students at Brauer College in Australia forced to stand and apologise to women for sexism.

21 April

During a presentation on privilege, pronouns, and intersectionality year 11 students at Parkdale Secondary College in Australia who were white, male and Christian were asked to stand. They were then told they were privileged and oppressors.

10 May

Female teacher at Como Secondary College, Western Australia, stormed into the boy's locker room and called them Testosterone-fueled misogynists for being too loud despite the fact that they were celebrating a victory and not discussing women at all.

13 May

The Crime and Corruption Commission, Queensland, Australia, released a report indicating that 200 men were not appointed as Queensland Police recruits as a result of these places going to less qualified women, including six women who failed to meet the standards for admission to the recruit programme.

19 November

Growing events for International Men's Day in Australia.

The City of Ipswich, Queensland continues its long tradition of IMD events.

In a previous year a feminist group in Melbourne planned to run an IMD event but backed down after being called out, especially by Independent Man.

White Ribbon Day is on Nov 19 this year. This is based on a definition established within the last few years.

Women's Entrepreneurship Day (WED) is held on the 19th of November each year. Started in 2014.

IMD was revitalised in 1999 and began being celebrated on November 19 by Jerome Teelucksingh. Jerome is being interviewed for ICMI21.

In 2012 the UN declared November 19, World Toilet Day.
