We Hunted The Mammoth (WHTM) is an anti-manosphere blog that uses the tag Misogyny, tracked and mocked. All posts are apparently made by David Futrelle.

We Hunted The Mammoth previously operated under the name Man Boobz.[1][2]

The blog often contains articles ridiculing MRAs, MGTOW, PUAs, incels and other groups in the manosphere. For many years Futrelle appeared to scour various manosphere sites picking low hanging fruit and representing them as typical of the movements he was talking about.

In February 2022 Futrelle posted to WHTM indicating that the blog was experiencing financial difficulties and encouraging donations to his running pledge drive.[3][4]

As a result of the split in feminism TERFs became increasingly hostile to WHTM and managed to blame men.[5][6]

WHTM went on indefinite hiatus on 15 August 2023. Futrelle stated that the blog would remain open to allow people to comment and that he might still post from time to time.[7][8]

Despite this WHTM had been replaced by a maintenance page by 12 November 2023. As of 8 July 2024 the site was still displaying a maintenance page.[9][10]

On 24 July 2024 WHTM re-launched as a misogyny-busting YouTube channel instead of a blog. Blog articles are now online again.[11]

Cassie Jaye

In February 2022 Futrelle likened Cassie Jaye to Nazi propagandist Leni Riefenstahl on the blog.[12][13]
