Douglas Murray and others have warned that the programme is increasingly partisan, focusing mainly on right wing extremists. Murray has warned that a 2023 report by Prevent suggested that reading books by George Orwell (including Nineteen Eighty-foud) , C.S. Lewis, J. R. R. Tolkien, Aldous Huxley, Joseph Conrad or himself could be an indication of far-right or extemist views.[1]
