ICMI18 was originally going to be held at the Birmingham City Football Club, in Birmingham, UK.[1] Following negative publicity the Birmingham City Football Club cancelled the booking.[2][3]
The subsequent location of ICMI18 was not disclosed until closer to the event to minimise the risk of interference with the venue by feminists and their allies.
