Sex drive

Sex drive refers to the desire to engage in sexual activity. Colloquially the term is used interchangeably with libido but in psychology libido has a broader meaning.

Prevailing wisdom in Western nations is that men have significantly higher sex drives than women however there is significant evidence to the contrary.

High levels of paternity fraud point to female sex drive being higher than is widely recognised. If it were merely a case of hypergamy women would seek to form a relationship with the other man. The fact that many women have affairs demonstrates that these women are driven by sexual desire.
