Memory Alpha is a wiki encyclopedia for topics related to the Star Trek fictional universe. Created by Harry Doddema and Dan Carlson, it uses the wiki model and is hosted by Fandom on the MediaWiki software. As of September 2023, Memory Alpha contains over 56,000 articles and 62,000 images in its English edition. The site is also available in several other languages including Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese, Czech, Dutch, Esperanto, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Spanish, Swedish, and Ukrainian.

The site is named after a massive data warehouse, library and museum in the Star Trek universe.

Memory Alpha has been accused of having a woke bias with admins who stifle alternative viewpoints.[1][2]

In 2022 the Memory Alpha logo was changed to contain the colours of the LGBT Progress Pride Flag. In May 2023 it was announced that this change would be made permanent. As of January 2024 this is still the case.[3][4]
