Memorial to Simplicia Florentina, Yorkshire Museum, United Kingdom.

Simplicia Florentina was a 10 month old Roman citizen girl who died in the 3rd century AD in Roman Britain. Her father, Felicius Simplex, buried her in a stone coffin. The coffin is now in the Yorkshire Museum in the United Kingdom.[1]

Translated, the inscription on the coffin read:

To the spirits of the departed (and) of Simplicia Florentina, a most innocent soul, who lived ten months; her father, Felicius Simplex, made this: centurion of the Sixth Legion Victrix. [2]
