In March 2021 Christie Lee Kennedy was charged with malicious act with intent to disable. It was alleged that she attempted to run over her husband, David Larkin, and a woman, Zowie Noring with her car. Kennedy reportedly believed that Larkin was having an affair with Noring.[1]
In August 2022 Kennedy was found not guilty of two counts of malicious acts with intent to disable while the jury could not delivery a verdict on alternative charges of two count of assault occasioning bodily harm while armed. Kennedy had previously pled guilty to one count of unlawful assault.[2]
