In March 2021 Christie Lee Kennedy was charged in relation to an incident involving her husband, David Larkin, and a woman, Zowie Noring. It was alleged that Kennedy attempted to run over Larkin and Noring with her car in Brisbane, Australia. Kennedy reportedly believed that Larkin was having an affair with Noring.[1]
In August 2022 Kennedy was found not guilty of two counts of malicious acts with intent to disable while the jury could not delivery a verdict on alternative charges of two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm while armed. Kennedy had previously pled guilty to one count of unlawful assault.[2]
The matter was set down for mention on 15 September 2022.[3]
