In March 2021 Christie Lee Kennedy was charged with in relation to an incident involving her husband, David Larkin, and a woman, Zowie Noring.. It was alleged that Kennedy attempted to run over Larkin and Noring with her car. Kennedy reportedly believed that Larkin was having an affair with Noring.[1]
In August 2022 Kennedy was found not guilty of two counts of malicious acts with intent to disable while the jury could not delivery a verdict on alternative charges of two count of assault occasioning bodily harm while armed. Kennedy had previously pled guilty to one count of unlawful assault.[2]
