Eileen Igoe is a British woman who, along with Margaret Hughes and Sarah McDermott was convicted and jailed for child abuse committed between 1969 & 1981. Igoe was a nun at the Smyllum Park orphanage in Scotland. Igoe reportedly force-fed children and made one eat their own vomit. He was also convicted in relation to beating one boy.[1]
The Smyllum Park orphanage closed in 1981.[2]
