Gabriella Ditton is an activist for radical environmentalist group Extinction Rebellion. On 7 April 2021 Wood participated in a protest at the London headquarters of multinational bank Barclays. Ditton was protesting alongside six other women, Carol Wood, Lucy Porter, Nicola Stickells, Sophie Cowen, Rosemary Webster and Zoe Cohen. Ditton and the other women deliberately smashed glass windows at Barclays causing £100,000 in damage.[1]

On 5 December 2022 Ditton was convicted of criminal damage by jury. Ditton is awaiting sentencing and faces up to 18 months imprisonment.[2]

All of the women except for Cowen have previous convictions for similar offences.[3]
