A trans woman is a person that was previously considered to be biologically male or intersex and now identifies as female. Trans women may or may not have had gender reassignment surgery and are regarded as being women legally by an increasing number of jurisdictions around the world. Trans women are excluded from the feminist movement by TERFs.
