Gender reassignment surgery, also known as sex reassignment surgery, is major surgery that removes the patents sex organs and replaces them with analogues of the sex organs of the other gender. While the patient may have genitals that outwardly resemble the sex organs of their new gender functionality may be limited due to current limitations in medical science.
