The manosphere is a broad term applied to a variety of movements involving men or focused on men's issues. In general participants in the various movements within the manosphere agree on the problems facing men and boys but disagree on how, or even if, they should be addressed. The manosphere does not include all groups that recognise the issues facing men and boys since even a small minority of feminists, such as Christina Hoff Sommers and Camille Paglia recognise and raise awareness of these issues.
In June 2025 the mainstream media reported on a study of the manosphere commissioned by Ofcom. The study argued that most participants were discriminating, value-driven and generally rejected extreme content.[1][2]
