In May 2016 Emily Wilson of Maine, United States was charged with domestic violence, reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon and domestic violence assault for allegedly firing a round from a handgun into a bed during an argument with her husband.[1] Wilson subsequently pleaded no contest to a lesser charge of criminal mischief.[2] Notably, when arrested, Wilson was wearing a t-shirt which read "Stop Domestic Violence."[3]

The category of Intimate Partner Violence includes articles where an accusation has been made but no conviction has been recorded.
