Check your privilege is a phrase used by SJWs to shutdown discussion and shame those that they believe live in a privileged position in society. Proponents of this idea often have a simplistic world view and routinely fall for the apex fallacy.
The use of the phrase peaked in early 2014 and is now in decline.[1] It is common for SJWs to adopt new phrases and discard old ones every few years.
