As of May 2023 Maureen Phipps is the CEO of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). ACOG was invited to a debate by the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists (AAPLOG) on whether or not induced abortion should be considered to be good medical practice.
