In August 2023, Judith Ann Venn (born Judith Ann Henzell, 20 June 1954)[1][2] was convicted of murder in relation to the death of her husband Lance Hilton Venn. Venn drugged Lance Venn, cut his wrists and then took the same medication she used to drug him. It was reported that she intended for it to look like a suicide.[3][4]
Venn reportedly claimed to be a victim of intimate partner violence over a long period of time.[5]
