Tsai-Wei Hung is a Taiwanese citizen living in Australia. On 10 March 2024 Hung was evicted from her rental home. She then proceeded to terrorise her former housemates for the next month. This ultimately led to Hung being charged with arson, property damage and reckless conduct endangering serious injury.[1][2]
Notably she was not charged with attempted-murder despite having attempted to run over her former housemates with her car. Nor was she charged with extortion despite having attempted to extort money from them.[3][4]
Hung has also been charged in relation to an attempt to sell a renter car.[5][6]
