Transman

A transman is a person who was born female but later transitioned to live indefinitely as a man. This may involved dressing as a man, representating themselves socially as a man, taking male hormones or having surgury to remove breats and/or female genitals and fashion male genitals.

Norah Vincent is not considered to be a transman as she only represented herself publicly as a man for a set period of time. Originally she intended to do this for 18 months but terminated the experiment early.

Transmen include transmaxxers.
