- Some women have publically announced they will vote for Clinton in 2016 because she is a woman
- This is exactly what some people argued when full enfranchisement for women was being considered
- Feminists are infantalising women
- eg, arguing that if a man and a woman are both drunk the man is the one that retains agency
- That when boys have consensual sex with adult women it is the fault of the boy
- US society supports this argument by requiring the boy to pay child support (including back payments) on turning 18
- We do not give infants the right to vote
