Shared Values Visa is a new visa offered by the Russian Federation. Starting on 1 September 2024 citizens of certain countries will be able to live and work in Russia without taking tests in Russian language or history. As of 22 August 2024 the list of countries has not been publicly released. Users of the visa will be expected to have to commit to adhering to traditional Russian values. The visa is generally being seen as anti-woke.[1]

The visa was first proposed by Italian student Irene Cecchini.[2][3]

On 9 Septembert 2024 it was reported that 17 people in the UK had already applied.[4]
