Illusion of independence
Hi Jane. Until recently the chances a woman could successfully survive and bring up children on her own was very low. This is why we evolved to have the family and societal structures that we do.
That all changed somewhat recently. Within the last few hundred years.
You brought up those children within an advanced industrialised society. That society keeps you and everyone else safe in a myriad of ways. This is part of the "illusion of independence" talked about in the post and elsewhere. You and I and virtually everyone else in the developed world is only independent to the extent that we live within a lovely bubble of safety and prosperity.
There's a group of people who keep that system running so you can bring up children without a man and so that we're all nice and safe. Almost all of those people are men.
A lot of men were actually just fine with this arrangement until misandry started to reach extreme levels. Now we have a system largely supported by men which turns its resources against men. Unless this changes, and soon, we're all in trouble.
