Holly Anne Maxwell is an Australian woman accused of repeatedly assaulting her own son in late 2022 or early 2023. The child was seven months old at the time. Maxwell allegedly stuffed a sock in her son's mouth and allegedly pulled a cord tightly around his neck. Prosecutors have reportedly said that Maxwell sent videos of her doing this to the child's father with the intent of emotionally manipulating him. It is also alleged that she has been abusive towards the father in the past. Maxwell reportedly separated from the child's father in late 2022.[1]
As of 11 January 2023 Maxwell has been charged and is being held in custody.[2]
