DVA Holma is a Russian television series set in a world run by women. The series uses a plot point common in stories such as this - a virus wiped out most men in the past. Free from men the women in DVA Holma create a utopia in which women and the natural world exist in harmony.[1][2]
Most stories in this genre presume that women survive in an agrarian societies. This story simply ignores invisible men and presumes that women will be able to maintain an advanced post-industrial society.[3][4]
