Cilla Carden

A few years ago a vegan woman, Cilla Carden, sued her neighbour over the smell of barbecuing meat wafting in to her house.

Thousands signed up for a revenge BBQ near her house but it was cancelled when her lawyers threatened to sue trespassers.

Cilla Carden lost the original suit against her neighbours. She took it all the way to the state's Supreme Court.

Cilla Carden also complained about other smells, her neighbour's children playing basketball in their backyard, and even the presence of pet birds.
