SheTaxis was a proposed women-only taxi service in New York City and surrounding areas. The service was reportedly going to be called SheRides within New York City itself.[1] Shortly before launch in 2014 it was reported that the launch would be delayed due to a lack of female drivers.[2][3] As of 2020 the website is still in pre-launch.
