In what MRA generally considered to be an own goal Miss Piggy was proclaimed a feminist icon in 2015.[1][2] Miss Piggy even received an award from Gloria Steinem.[3]

Miss Piggy was even wrote an article for TIME in which she discussed her feminism.[4]
