Maurnice Alexandria Dye Declue

Maurnice Alexandria Dye Declue (born 14 October 1988) is an American girl who attends Hazelwood East High School, St Louis, Missouri.^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4]

Various sources have identified Declue as the perpetrator of an alleged serious assault against another 15 year old girl, Kaylee Gain, in St Louis, Missouri.^[5]^[6]^[7]^[8]^[9]^[10]

The remainder of this article is written based on the identification of Declue.

In March 2024 a video circulated widely on the Internet of Declue and Kaylee Gain facing one another. Some sources have claimed they were squaring up to fight. Declue, however, is significantly larger and heavier than Kaylee Gain and it is possible that she was trying to walk around Declue to leave the area. A fight ensues which results in Kaylee Gain falling to the ground. As the video continues Declue allegedly repeatedly bashes Kaylee Gain's head on the ground.^[11]^[12]^[13]^[14]^[15]^[16]^[17]^[18]^[19]^[20]^[21]

Media reports state that the fight occurred at the intersection of Norgate Drive and Claudine Drive in suburban St Louis, Missouri. Following the fight Declue leaves Kaylee Gain on the ground. Kaylee Gain is later seen convulsing on the ground before Declue steps over her. Kaylee Gain did not receive immediate attention from anyone in the area despite the obvious severity of her injuries.^[22]^[23]^[24]^[25]^[26]^[27]^[28]^[29]^[30]^[31]^[32]

Soon after the alleged attack reports circulated that Kaylee Gain had died. Police in St Louis later stated that this is not the case and that she is in hospital in a critical condition.^[44]^[45]

Declue had previously been in the Volleyball team roster but was removed around 11 March 2024.^[46]^[47]

The surname Declue appears frequently in the area of Hazelwood East High School with at least one staff member having the same surname.^[48]^[49]

The Attorney-General of Missouri has stated that he wants the alleged attacker charged as an adult.^[50]^[51]
