Bill Manser

In 1992 Bill Manser had a brief sexual relationship with Elizabeth Sehr in Missouri. Sehr became pregnant and gave birth to Daniel Sehr. Ms Sehr submitted DNA to Roche Biomedical Laboratories (now LabCorp), where she worked, for a paternity test for Mr Manser. Mr Manser stated that he does not recall submitting DNA for a test. The test was positive, indicating that Mr Manser was the father of Sehr's child.

Mr Manser began paying child support as required by law even though he suspected the child may not be his. Mr Manser later fell in to arrears on child support and was subsequently jailed for five years.

Mr Manser and Ms Sehr were invited on to the TV program Paternity Court' who paid for another test to be conducted. The second test showed thar Mr Manser is not the father of Daniel Sehr.

In 2015 Mr Manser, along with Daniel and Elizabeth Sehr sued the Roche Biomedical Laboratories.

The Suit was subsequently settled out of court for an undisclosed sum.
