If you do have to come to the aid of a child start recording and keep recording until you can hand the child over to the relevant authorities.
Avoid touching the child if you possibly can.
Don't move the child to another location unless is it essential to do so. Wait for the relevant authorities to come to you.
Best to have a witness. A female witness is best.
