Gosh this story mutates a lot.
She co-developed frequency hopping technology with George Antheil. He’s forgotten in virtually ever retelling of this story.
The allies did not adopt their technology during WW2. Seems like a good idea to me but I’m sure they had their reasons. Maybe it was too expensive or impractical.
It is similar to technology later used in WiFi and elsewhere but the later technology was developed independently.
There were earlier examples of frequency hopping technology. Nikolai Tesla may have been first.
