Men refusing to have sex with a female partner has been established as intimate partner violence in many jurisdictions. This qualification for domestic violence is always reported as being gender-neutral but is only ever applied to men.[1][2]
Many sources make a distinction between not being comfortable with sex (implicitly assuming the person is a woman) and withholding sex (implicitly assuming the person is a man).[3]
