Women dominate amongst junior lawyers now. There are now so many lawyers that most are having to take on permanent employment rather than operating in partnerships as would have happened traditionally.
"Over the past eleven years, there has been a 57% increase in the number of solicitors practising in Australia. In 2022 there were 90,329 solicitors nationally, 32,752 more than in 2011."
The wokies claim this is because female-dominated fields are viewed with less prestige. I think the reason is simpler - we have too many solicitors.
