Robyn Westgate is an Australian woman and convicted murderer. Westgate murdered her husband in Perth, Western Australia, in 1999 and subsequently spent more than 17 years in prison.[1]
Western Australian legislative changes in 2008 mean that a woman murdering her husband under similar circumstances today would not be convicted.[2]
