Alan Northrop

Alan Northrop is an American man who was wrongfully convicted and sentences to 20 years and six months in prison. Mr Northrop served 17 years of his sentence before being released. After being released from prison Mr Northrop was billed $111,000 for backdated child support payments.
Mr Northrop was initially denied compensation but in 2013 received $5.25 million to settle a federal wrongful conviction lawsuit out of court.[1][2][3][4][5].
