Are men more violent

Men are not more violent than women. Men do more damage when violent which is not the same thing.

Be honest, when was the last time you saw a woman hit someone? Chances are it was within the last week or two. When was the last time you saw a man hit someone? It was likely some time ago unless part of a scripted drama on TV.

I saw a woman hit a man two days ago. I don't recall the last time I saw a man hit anyone.

Further, research in to medieval Europe found Queens Regnant more like to start and continue wars than Kings. The researchers tried to explain this away but the research spoke for itself.

What limited information is available from the Ethiopian/Eritrean conflicts suggest that female Eritrean soldiers are more violent than male soldiers. Ethiopians report that female Eritrean soldiers would often not take prisoners.

Women initiate more than half of intimate partner violence.

On and on the evidence goes that it is women, not men, that are more violent.
