Kari O'Brien

On 26 June 2021 Kari O'Brien, then 24, was allegedly the passenger in a stolen vehicle allegedly being driven by Skye Anne Wallis, then 33. The stolen vehicle was being driving on the Bruce Highway in Burpengary, Queensland, Australia. Senior Constable David Masters was attempting to deploy road spikes to stop the stolen vehicle when it's alleged that Wallis drove the vehicle in to S/Con Masters, killing him.^[1] ^[2] ^[3] ^[4]

Kari O'Brien was arrested the following day and charged with murder.^[5]

As of 13 December 2022 O'Brien is still apparently awaiting trial.
