We all know the men's rights movement is growing.

Themes relevant to the MRM sometimes appear in popular music. No doubt this will become more common as our movement grows.

All that she wants (is another baby)

Ace of Base

All that she wants is another baby.
She's gone tomorrow boy.

Yet another man who did not consent to fatherhood.

The Man

Aloe Blacc

Finally, we look at a song that was rejected. This song some certainly has an appealing title and might suggest the song could be a great anthem for the MRM. The lyrics tell a different story though.

I played my cards and I didn't fold
Well it ain't that hard when you got soul (this is my world)

... that seems quite traditional ...

I'm a soldier standing on my feet
No surrender and I won't retreat (this is my world)

... as does this.

Blurred Lines

Robin Thicke, T.I. and Pharrell Williams

This song is included just because it pissed off so many feminists. It receives an honorary mention.

Feminists asserted that it was misogynistic and encouraged rape culture. It was banned at various University campuses around the world. Most people just thought it was a good song though as it hit number one in 20 countries.

The Men's Rights Opera

We'll finish off with the Men's Rights Opera, which has feature on AVfM previously. It may be the first song explicitly written about the MRM.
