Jessica Camilleri

Jessica Camilleri is an Australian woman was convicted of killing her mother, Rita Camilleri. Jessica Camilleri was charged with murder however she was able to successfully use a defence of mental illness to have the charge reduced to manslaughter. Camilleri was convicted and sentenced to imprisonment for a period of 21 years and seven months, with a non-parole period of 16 years and two months for the brutal killing which involved her decapitating her mother.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
