It's a common feminist refrain to claim that The Patriarchy hurts men too. The problem with this argument is that in order to believe in The Patriarchy we'd need to believe that it hurts women more than men.

• Men have higher mortality at every age

• Men experience more violence at every age

• Men have a lower life expectancy

• Men are treated more severely at every stage of the criminal justice process
