Vernon Meigs is an American men's issues advocate who approaches the subject from an individualist lens and background. Vernon was on the organizing committee for ICMI21.
His particular areas of concern include:
- Self-interest/anti-sacrifice based advocacy for men and boys
- Deconstructing alleged "value" in male disposability
- Advocacy against Infant male genital mutilation
- Gynocentrism (which he defines as the "call to male altruism")
- Defending male sexuality / combatting demonization of male lust
- Concerns regarding multimedia portrayal of males
- The puer archetype
