The mate-choice hypothesis proposes that the female orgasm is more difficult to attain than the male orgasm because it encourages women to choose men who are caring lovers and thus will be caring fathers. The mate-choice hypothesis argues against the feminist notion of Patriarchy because it is inherently based on female choice.
