Pledge

This is intended to a pledge for MRAs to take. It will not require the person to engage in activism and it will not reference feminism directly, since not all MRAs are anti-feminists. It will however specifically reference and reject major feminist doctrines.

• Seek to address problems facing men and boys.
• I wish to Allow all people equality of opportunity regardless of their gender.
• I reject male disposability. Technological advances and the growth of the human population mean that we no longer need to recover numbers very quickly. As a result we no longer need men to sacrifice themselves to guarantee the survival of women.
• I reject the claim that men historically engaged in the systematic oppression of women.
• I reject the claim that violence is a trait inate to men and masculunity.
• I reject the ridicule and vilification of masculinity prevalent in modern society.
• I rejection violence as a tool for political or social change.
