Clare Werbeloff is an Australian woman who achieved a brief period of fame in 2009 as Chk chk boom girl when she was reportedly 19.
Werbeloff was interviewed by Nine News in Australia and gave an account of a conversation that, she claimed, occurred between two men before one shot and killed the other. The interview went viral around the world.
In fact Werbeloff had not witnessed the incident, only arriving in the area afterwards.
This all occurred while a man was laying dead nearby.
Werbeloff was subsequently interviewed and posed for the July 2010 edition of Ralph magazine. During the interview she revealed that she is from the Northern Beaches of Sydney, a wealthy area.[1]
In 2010 Werbeloff also featured in a television show about scams.[2]
As of 2019 it was reported that Werbeloff was working as a speech therapist.[3][4]
As of 2024 Werbeloff is being compared to Hawk tuah girl.
