Miss Piggy is a well known anthropomorphic pig puppet that has appeared regularly on The Muppet Show and Sesame Street and has also appeared in other media.
Miss Piggy is portrayed as being in a long-term relationship with Kermit the Frog. Miss Piggy is routinely violent towards Kermit. This is played for laughs and is a running gag.
In what MRAs generally considered to be an own goal Miss Piggy was proclaimed a feminist icon in 2015.[1][2] Miss Piggy even received an award from Gloria Steinem.[3]
Miss Piggy also wrote an article for TIME in which she discussed her feminism.[4]
