"A very powerful Then & Now photograph we took today with my friend @8thinfantrydivision just outside of St-Mere-Eglise, Normandy. In this photograph, you can see American Infantry men getting some rest after a long march coming from Utah Beach. These special moments were as well a good opportunity to share a drink with local civilians. I am always wondering how many of these men in this picture did not make it. It is always a powerful and moving experience to walk in the footsteps of these brave young men. We should never forget them."
