Abigail Villalobos is a Mexican woman who walked up the steps of Pyramid of Kukulcán in Tinum, Yucatán, on 20 November 2022 without authorisation. This enraged locals and prompted a security guard to follow her up. Villalobos was arrested and held for 30 minutes. She was released after paying a small fine.[1]
Villalobos has been dubbed Lady Chichen Itza for her actions.[2]
